Fairy Flowers

I am a school crossing gurard in Florida. The job requres that I be at a certain location for 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon. At the morning location I cross few children and have a large amount of waiting time. In the afternoon the first 1/2 hour is waiting for school to let out and then 20 minutes of work. I use the time to walk or pace back and forth. I have noticed in the weeds beside the sidewalk some very tiny flowers. Each bloom is under 1/8 of an inch. They are beautiful. They are blue, dark red, yellow, yellow with a dark center, white and white with a dark center. They have rows of petals, or 4 petals up to a larger number. As I have thought about these tiny blooms I have also thought of the Magnolia bloom, along with the hibiscus and angle tumpet blooms which may measure up to seven inches. As my mediatation I thought of the blooms in trees and the multitude of types of trees.

What an Awesome God we have, to create such variety for us to explore!

How would you?

Try to imagine yourself 2000 years ago. If you knew only what was known about things that were around at that time, how would you describe a meteour or a helicopter. 2000 years ago there were no cars, airplanes or other mechanical things.

What do you suppose John was describing in Rev. 8:8? How about Rev. 9:7?

I've thought of this and don't know how I would describe these things.

Now how about this?

In Romans 8:22 Paul wrote "For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now." Could this be why there are so many things happening in this groaning of the earth. I'm thinking of the unusual weather, in floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, etc.

Jesus speaking of the end times, in Matthew 24:7 said "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places". Mark 13:8 and Luke 21:11 also state these words from Jesus..

Empty Cities

Scattered about the earth are some ancient cities. The cities I'm thinking of are not inhabited and have been void of people so long there is no historical record of them. These cities have not been battle sites, there are no bones or weapons scattered about and no apparent reason why the people left. I wonder if the flood waters of Noah's flood were rising so the people left.
